End of August in Los Angeles, and the Peterson's handing its lot over to Porsches for the day. That's the whole pitch: an all-Porsche cruise-in, hosted by the museum itself, on August 30th. A cruise-in is a looser thing than a judged concours — people roll in, park up, pop decklids, and stand around arguing about which generation got it right. Bring the daily driver. Nobody's going to fault you for stone chips and a set of worn PS4Ss. Come early if you want a good spot and a clean walk of the rows before the sun gets serious.
