About This Event

October in Melbourne means you can finally run a few laps without your steering wheel trying to cook your palms, and Space Coast Region's putting on an autocross at AMCM to take advantage of it. If you've never done one, autocross is the cheapest, lowest-risk way to actually find the limit of your car — second-gear cone course, one car on course at a time, runs measured in seconds instead of minutes. You'll learn more about weight transfer and lift-off oversteer in four runs than in a year of back-road driving. Daily drivers are entirely welcome; nobody's showing up with a trailer queen. Check the region's official page for registration details before you commit the Saturday.
