About This Event

Mid-September in Maryland is about as good as it gets — the air finally cools off, the light goes long in the afternoon, and the back roads through Howard, Carroll and Frederick counties stop being a commute and start being the point. PCA Chesapeake Region calls this one the Black Ankle Wander, and a wander is a fair description of what a good group drive is: a route sheet, a driver's meeting, a pace that's brisk without being stupid, and regular regroups so nobody gets stranded at a light. Bring the daily driver or the weekend car, it doesn't much matter. Check the Chesapeake Region page for the meet point and timing before you commit.
