Number five on the calendar means the season's well underway by the time this one rolls around — early September in Maryland, and a lot of people showing up will already know exactly how many cones they clipped in round four. If you've never run an autocross, it's the cheapest way to actually learn your car: second-gear speeds, a course laid out in cones, runs short enough that you'll be dissecting them for the rest of the day. You'll work a station, help with timing, and probably drop a second or two by your last run. The organizer posts the site and the day's details, so check the official page before you load up the daily driver.
