A Casey's parking lot in Riverside is about as Iowa a meeting point as it gets — coffee, a fuel stop, and everybody standing around comparing wheels before someone finally says let's go. That's the start of CIA PCA's Historian Run on August 8th. Group drives live or die on the roads, and the club sets the route, so watch their page for the details and the driver's meeting time. August in eastern Iowa usually means warm mornings and long light, which is good news if you'd rather not spend the whole day squinting into the sun. Bring a full tank.
