Not every PCA event involves a helmet. Magnolia Region's putting on a cooking class with Dan Blumenthal at Sur la Table in Jackson, and if you've only ever seen these folks at a drivers meeting or a paddock, this is a different kind of hang. You're on your feet, hands in it, learning something you'll actually use again — and the conversation tends to drift toward cars anyway, because of course it does. Bring your appetite, drive something fun to get there, and plan on standing around talking longer than you meant to.
