This is day one of a three-day GT World Challenge America weekend in Wisconsin, running through the 30th. If you've only ever watched GT3 cars on a stream, standing trackside for the real thing recalibrates you — the braking, the downshifts, the way a pro drops it into a corner with zero drama. Race weekends build across the days, so showing up early means fewer people and more time to just watch cars work. Bring ear protection and something to sit on.
