Mid-October is about the kindest time of year to point a Porsche at Streets of Willow Springs, and California Inland Region PCA has a full High Performance Driver Education day on the calendar for the 12th. If you've never run an HPDE, the shape of it is simpler than you'd think: you're sorted into a run group with drivers at your pace, a coach rides right seat while you're learning, and you get far more laps than a single track day sounds like on paper.
