Rosamond, early September, high desert — bring water and start with a full tank. That's the jumping-off point for California Inland Region PCA's Tehachapi Loop de Loop Tour on Sunday, September 6. A club drive is one of the better uses of a car that mostly sees commutes: a route somebody else already scouted, usually a driver's meeting before rollout, and a group of people who won't think it's strange that you took the long way home. You don't need a GT3 here. A daily-driven Boxster or a Cayenne with the family in it counts just the same. Check the region's official page for the meet spot, timing, and RSVP details.
