About This Event

Mid-September in Arizona is when the heat finally loosens its grip, which makes this a smart weekend to point the car somewhere and actually drive it. This one runs two days, the 17th and 18th, and pairs a train ride and wine tasting with the road miles it takes to get there — so the driving isn't just transportation, it's half the reason you're going. Multi-day drives have a rhythm a commute never does: you settle in, the car stops feeling like an appliance, and the conversations at every stop run long. Bring something you don't mind putting miles on. The organizer's page has the routing and timing if you're weighing it.
