Werks Reunion Amelia Island 2027: The Porsche Guide

5 min read · Last updated August 16, 2026

If you have just got home from Monterey and you are not willing to wait twelve months to do it again, this is the one. The Amelia Concours runs March 4–7, 2027 on the Florida coast, and the Porsche day inside it is Werks Reunion Amelia on Friday, March 5.

It is the same shape as Car Week — a Sunday concours, an auction, a cars & coffee, and a Porsche gathering on the Friday before — at roughly a third of the intensity, in a place where you can still get a hotel room.

Werks Reunion Amelia, in specifics

  • Friday, March 5, 2027 — the day before the Concours weekend proper, which is deliberate. Same slot Werks Monterey holds.
  • The Amelia River Club, 4477 Buccaneer Trail, Fernandina Beach, Florida.
  • The eleventh running. This is a settled event, not a first-year experiment.
  • Organisers expect 500-plus Porsches across the corral and judged fields, plus vendors.
  • You do not need to be a PCA member. Anyone can bring a car.

The registration detail that actually costs money

Corral parking is $99 per car at the early rate, and $114 after January 29, 2027. That is the date to put in your calendar rather than the event date — it is the one that moves while you are not looking.

Registration covers a reserved space, an event bag, and raffle entry. You need to register to be on the corral or the judged field. Spectators do not register at all — if you want to walk the field rather than show a car, just turn up.

Registration runs through PCA's MotorsportReg, and questions go to werksreunion@pca.org.

How it differs from Monterey, honestly

Anyone deciding between the two deserves the real comparison rather than the brochure one.

  • Lodging is possible. This is the big one. Peninsula rooms for Car Week vanish a year out at doubled rates; Amelia in March is a normal booking made a couple of months ahead.
  • Nothing collides. Car Week's defining problem is Werks Reunion and The Quail landing on the same Friday morning. Amelia spreads its events across the days.
  • It is smaller. Said plainly rather than sold around: you will not see the sheer volume of significant cars that Monterey draws. What you get instead is the ability to actually look at them.
  • March on the Atlantic coast beats August on the Peninsula for standing outdoors all day, and it is not close.

The rest of the week

The Concours weekend around Werks includes the Broad Arrow auction and Cars & Caffeine at The Golf Club of Amelia Island. The full programme — classes, seminars, road tour — is published closer to the date, and we will keep this guide current as it lands.

Werks Reunion Amelia is already in the directory with the registration link, so you can see it alongside the rest of the Florida calendar or add it to your own from the event page.

What to do now

Nothing is urgent yet, which is exactly why this is worth reading in August rather than February. In rough order: decide whether you are showing a car or spectating, book lodging by around the turn of the year, and register for the corral before January 29 if you want the cheaper rate.

If you want the other end of the calendar as well, the Monterey 2027 dates are already set — August 15, with a change coming in 2028 worth knowing about before you book anything that far out.
