September on a Colorado track day is about as good as it gets — cooler air, a sun that isn't trying to cook you in your helmet, and the season winding toward its close. Rocky Mountain Region PCA's second Driver Education event runs at High Plains Raceway in Byers, and if you've never done an HPDE, the format is friendlier than it sounds: sessions grouped by run group, an instructor in the right seat while you're learning, classroom time between stints, and far more laps than you'd guess from the schedule.
