Mid-October in Colorado means cool, dense air, and your engine is going to love it. RMR's running a track day at High Plains Raceway on the 15th, and if you've been telling yourself all season that you'd finally get your car on a real circuit, this is a pretty good excuse to stop talking about it. An HPDE day is simpler than it sounds: you're grouped by experience, you get an instructor in the right seat if you're new, and you end up with far more seat time than you expected walking in.
