About This Event

Late August in Southern California, and Grand Prix Region has the right instinct: point a group of Porsches uphill toward Mt Baldy. Elevation is the whole point. Region tours tend to run a familiar shape — a driver's meeting first, a route you're handed instead of guessed at, staggered starts so nobody's stuck in a conga line, and a regroup stop where everyone stands around comparing notes and tire pressures. Bring a full tank and sunscreen. If you've never done a club drive before, it's about the lowest-stress way there is to actually use the car instead of polishing it.
