About This Event

Late September, a Saturday night, and the destination is Mount Wilson Observatory — which tells you most of what you need to know about how this one's going to feel. Grand Prix Region has the night viewing on the calendar, so you're driving up in daylight and coming back down after dark, and that's a very different kind of drive than your usual morning run. Bring a jacket. Mountain air after sundown doesn't care what the forecast said at sea level. Group drives like this live or die on the meet-up logistics, so check the Region's official page for the route, timing, and whatever they need from you ahead of time.
