Mid-October in eastern Iowa, and PCA has something a little different on the calendar: an optional group hike at Mormon Handcart Park in Iowa City. Note the word optional — nobody's taking attendance, and it's there for people who want to stretch their legs between the driving. Honestly, the best part might be the way you get there. Backroad miles on a cool fall morning, the engine finally happy, then you park up and walk around instead of talking torque curves in a lot.
