About This Event
Four days of historic racing at Laguna Seca, August 12–15. Porsche is not the featured marque in 2026 — the theme is "Salute to Japanese Motorsports" — but two of the thirteen race groups are squarely Porsche territory. The Peter Gregg Trophy covers 1973–1981 IMSA GT machinery, the era Gregg defined in Brumos 911 RSRs, 934s, and 935s. The Hurley Haywood GTP/Group C run group marks the 45th anniversary of IMSA GTP, which is to say the 962 and 956. Haywood himself is quoted in the Reunion's announcement. If you came to watch Porsches race rather than sit on a lawn, this is the week's best value.
