PCA Werks Reunion Monterey 2026: The All-Porsche Day of Car Week

7 min read · Last updated May 12, 2026

If Pebble Beach is for a thousand cars from a hundred marques, Werks Reunion is the all-Porsche counterpoint to it. The 12th annual PCA Werks Reunion Monterey runs Friday, August 14, 2026 at Monterey Pines Golf Course — and given that 2026's Pebble Beach and Reunion themes don't feature Porsche, Werks is the day the marque gets its proper Car-Week spotlight.

The basics

  • Date: Friday, August 14, 2026
  • Edition: 12th annual
  • Venue: Monterey Pines Golf Course, 1250 Garden Road, Monterey, CA 93940
  • Hosted by: Porsche Club of America (PCA)
  • Official: werksreunion.com

Pricing and registration

Per the official PCA MotorsportReg registration page:

  • Corral Parking (you and your Porsche on the field): $99 early / $114 late
  • Judged Class entry: $149
  • Spectator parking (cash): $40
  • Early-bird cutoff: July 17, 2026
  • Registration closes: July 25, 2026
  • Registration opened: May 13, 2026 at 3:00 pm ET

If you're bringing a Porsche, register before July 17 to catch the early Corral price. After July 25 the entry window is closed — there is no walk-up corral access.

What Werks Reunion is

Hundreds of Porsches on the lawn at Monterey Pines, organized by class (long-hood, G-body, water-cooled, GT, modern). Owners bring cars they actually drive; the atmosphere is loose and social rather than ropes-and-judges. PCA members and non-members can both attend — the entry restriction is only the corral itself (which requires a Porsche).

If you've been to a regional PCA Cars & Coffee, imagine that scaled to 1,000+ cars with a national draw and the social density that comes with Car Week being in town.

Why Friday is the most ambitious day of the week

Friday August 14 is also The Quail (9 am – 4 pm at Quail Lodge in Carmel) and Reunion qualifying at Laguna Seca. You can do two of the three if you plan tightly. Werks Reunion is the easiest to fit in early because the corral fills first thing — show up by 7–8 am to see the cars before crowds, then head to The Quail by mid-morning if you have a ticket.

What to bring if you're entering the corral

  • A clean Porsche. Werks doesn't require show-quality detailing but the corral norm is "recently washed and presented well."
  • A folding chair. Bring two if you have a passenger. You'll want a base of operations all day.
  • Cash for spectator parking if a friend is driving in separately.
  • Microfiber + spray detailer for the dust that accumulates on the field through the day.
  • Sun cover. Monterey Pines is exposed; bring a hat and sunscreen.
  • A water bottle. There are vendors but the lines move slowly mid-day.

The Werks Reunion vs. Pebble Beach distinction

These aren't competing events; they're different cultures. Pebble Beach is invitation-only with judges in white coats and seven-figure cars. Werks Reunion is open registration with owners in shorts and cars you might see at a Sunday drive. Most enthusiasts attend both — Werks Friday, Pebble Sunday — and find the contrast is the whole point of Car Week.

Who attends

Owners from every PCA region, dealers, specialist shops, motorsport companies, factory representatives from PCNA, and the wider Porsche community. If you want to meet people in the marque, this is the highest-density single-day gathering on the calendar. The casual atmosphere makes conversation easy in a way that Pebble Beach (where you're competing with judges' time) doesn't.

Plan the rest of your week

For the Porsche owner showing up

If you're driving in, you'll want a touring bag that matches the car. 1of1 Touring makes a hand-crafted leather bag built for exactly this kind of trip — limited to 100 units worldwide. And the broader 1of1 Motorsport catalog covers hats, hoodies, and accessories for the long weekend.

Date, venue, and pricing per werksreunion.com and PCA MotorsportReg. Pricing and deadlines may shift — re-verify before registering.
